Beijing KYKY Optic-Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. (KYSEM) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Beijing KYKY Technology Co., Ltd. (KYKY),Established in 2023.


KYKY has a history of nearly sixty years in the research and development of electron microscopes, and it once successfully developed the first scanning electron microscope in China. KYSEM inherits and carries forward its expertise in electro-optical technology and experience in the electron microscope industry, further focuses on the R&D, production and service of high-end scanning electron microscopes, and is committed to providing customers with comprehensive microimaging solutions with extensive adaptation and superior performance.


At present, the company's products mainly include tungsten filament scanning electron microscope, field emission gun scanning microscope and other related equipment, which are widely applied in cutting-edge scientific research and high-end equipment manufacturing fields such as semiconductor, new energy and new materials.


Inheriting the mission and responsibility of "Innovating Scientific Instruments and Building a First-class Enterprise", KYSEM is committed to the R&D and manufacturing of high-end electronic optical instruments, making every effort to promote the the commercialization of research findings and large-scale industrialization, and contributing to the high-quality development of the Chinese electron microscope industry chain.

Beijing KYKY Optic-Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. was established.
July 2024
The field emission gun scanning microscope was selected into the "List of 100 New Products and New Technologies" of the 2024 Zhongguancun Forum.
August 2024
The company passed the ISO 9000, ISO 14000, and ISO 45001 certifications.
December 2024
The KYSEM Scanning Electron Microscope Industrial Base settled in the Equipment Industrial Park.
History of KYKY scanning electron microscope development
The parent company of KYSEM - Beijing KYKY Technology Co., Ltd. (predecessor was the Scientific Instrument Factory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences)is the first batch of units in New China to participate in the development of domestic electron microscopes. It has developed China's first scanning electron microscope, continuously filled the industry gap for 60 years, and provided important support for the development of cutting-edge scientific research, major projects and strategic emerging industries of China.

2019

KYKY successfully developed China's first low-vacuum scanning electron microscope, KYKY-EM6900LV, with a resolution of 3nm, which solved the problem of observation of non-conductive samples and provided a new means for the observation and analysis of micro morphology of materials.

2017

KYKY successfully developed the KYKY-EM8100 field emission gun scanning electron microscope with a resolution of better than 1.0nm, which reached the international advanced level.

2014

KYKY successfully developed the KYKY-EM6000 series scanning electron microscope, with the comprehensively upgraded electronic control system and a resolution of 3nm. KYKY successfully developed China's first field emission scanning electron microscope KYKY-EM8000 with a resolution of 1.5nm, breaking the foreign technology and market monopoly.


2010

KYKY made a breakthrough in the conical objective lens technology and successfully developed the KYKY-EM3900 scanning electron microscope with a resolution of 3nm, reaching the limit level of the resolution of tungsten filament scanning electron microscopes.

1999

Beijing Scientific Instrument Development Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences successfully developed KYKY-3800 fully computer-controlled scanning electron microscope with a resolution of 4.5nm, and won the "Gold Award for Excellent Domestic Analysis and Testing Instrument".

1994

Beijing Scientific Instrument Research Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences successfully developed KYKY-2800 scanning electron microscope with a resolution of 4.5nm. 1993 - Beijing Scientific Instrument Development Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences successfully developed KYKY-1500 high-temperature environment scanning electron microscope, which obtained the National Scientific and Technological Achievement Certification in 1995.

1989

The Scientific Instrument Factory of Chinese Academy of Sciences successfully developed KYKY-2000, the first scanning electron microscope with digital image processing function in China, with a resolution of 5nm, and won the Second Prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1994 and the Gold Medal of the Third BCEIA.

1988

The Scientific Instrument Factory of Chinese Academy of Sciences successfully developed the LaB6 cathode electron gun, which increased the resolution of KYKY-1000B to 4nm. 


1985

The Scientific Instrument Factory of Chinese Academy of Sciences cooperated with Amray Company of the United States, and developed the first KYKY-1000B scanning electron microscope with a resolution of 6nm, which was listed as a Major Scientific and Technological Achievement in China from 1979 to 1988, won the First Prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1987, and won the international tender of the National Education Commission for the World Bank loan for five consecutive years.


1980

The Scientific Instrument Factory of Chinese Academy of Sciences successfully developed DX-5 scanning electron microscope with a resolution of 7nm, and won the Science and Technology Progress Award of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1986.

1975

The Scientific Instrument Factory of Chinese Academy of Sciences independently developed China's first scanning electron microscope, DX-3, with a resolution of 10nm, which won the First Prize of the Science Conference and the First Prize of the Major Scientific and Technological Achievement Award of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1978.
